Must be able to: stand watch on the bridge while the ship is underway and watch at the gangway while at berth according to the ship's schedule under direct supervision of the captain, watch officer or qualified rating; ensure order and cleanliness in cargo holds; report to the watch officer about detected violations or damages and about termination of cargo operations; control cargo separation and, if necessary, perform cargo accounting; use emergency equipment installed on the vessel according to alarm schedule
